RayGun 3D gerð í 3ds
3DS líkan af SciFi Raygun
A ray gun is a science fiction energy weapon. It fires directed and destructive energy. They have many alternative names: ray gun, death ray, beam gun, laser pistol, phaser, zap gun. In most movies, when the ray gun is activated it emits a ray that is typically visible and usually lethal when fired on the target.
A very early example of a raygun is the heat ray, featured in H.G Wells’ novel The war of the worlds in 1898. Science fiction during 1920s described the ray gun. Early science fiction often described or depicted the ray gun by showing a bright beam of light and loud noises like lightning.
By the late 1960s and 1970s, as the laser’s limit as a weapon became evident, ray guns were dubbed “phaser” for star trek, “blasters” for star wars, pulse rifles, plasma rifle and so on.
As described by science fiction, ray guns do not have any disadvantages on the screen. It makes it completely impractical as a weapon in real life. Ray guns are often shown transmitting heat as with Well’s death rays or they can be used to cut through hard materials like a blowtorch.
Well, if you love science fiction, FlatPyramid has developed a 3-D model of Ray Gun. It is a high resolution model developed to be used in animations, movies or gaming etc. We hope that you like and appreciate the model.
Thanks for showing interest in the 3-D model of a ray gun.
